It is a chance to learn more about the Under One Roof Project.
A community open house is being held Saturday, Sept. 14 at The Ledge Community Coffee House (38055 Cleveland Ave.) about the development under construction at the southwest corner of Main Street and Third Avenue.
The project is a result of a partnership between the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Helping Hands Society, the District of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 and BC Housing.
Once complete, it will include 44 units of affordable housing, a shelter and a community laundromat, and services by the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Food Bank, Cutting Barriers Employment Training and other community organizations.
All are welcome to the free event at The Ledge, according to organizers, and there will be entertainment and snacks.
A 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Arts Council-funded photo exhibition at The Ledge, 鈥淭his Place Called Homeless,鈥� featuring works by individuals in our community who are homeless or have experienced homelessness, is on display until Oct. 11.
The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation recently provided the Under One Roof project with a grant of $300,000.聽
