WASHINGTON (AP) 鈥� President on Monday said 鈥渁 woman can do anything a man can do ... including being president of the United States,鈥� as he welcomed the 2023 National Women's Soccer League champions , the first time in the league鈥檚 11-year history that a team has received a White House invite.

Biden said it looked like the team was headed for a second win and another trip back to the White House. 鈥淚 won鈥檛 be president, but ask if I can come and listen,鈥� he said.
A professional women's soccer club was invited to the White House in 2010 but it was a different league, Women's Professional Soccer - that preceded NWSL. The winning team, Sky Blue FC, was later rebranded as Gotham. Barack Obama was the president at the time.
