I note from the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 of Jan. 23 that Mayor Greg Gardner is lamenting a lack of community input in a planning process for the Nexen lands that "started in 2008."
It may be news to our mayor, but many in this community gave repeated input for several years prior to 2008 to planning for the development of this land in meetings held (among other places) at the Sea to Sky Hotel, the Howe Sound Inn, and the offices of the former Nexen Corporation. Some of us also saw attractive and well-advanced plans for this development.
Having received this community input, why is the present administration apparently choosing to ignore it?
For the record, we, like many in this community, are concerned that any reworking of prior input conserve plans for adequate green space, locations for major public gatherings and ocean front trails. Roy Shephard
