Editor,

What I've seen as of recently has disgusted me to no extent.

Yet again Whistler has proven that 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 is their dumping grounds and we are considered second class to them. In the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 dated Jan. 15. ["Whistler reps deny homeless 'relocation,'"], according to Whistler Community Services Society executive director Greg McDonnell, "Whistler-based homeless people require help, such as through Service Canada, welfare or medical treatments or access to the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Helping Hands Society - the area's only 24-hour drop-in shelter which is available to everyone in the corridor - the Whistler Community Services Society provides them with bus tickets into town."

But you'll notice nowhere in the Chiefs article does it state they give them tickets to go backodd isn't it? Oh wait; I think they are trying to 'imply' that the people get tickets to return to Whistler.

But didn't they also 'imply' that Olympic security was only going to cost $150 million dollars? Funny how that changed recently on most media sources to cost over $1 billion dollars.

Next:

In the Jan. 13 2010 edition of the Globe and Mail a small article popped up that most people would have missed. Headline. "Library asked to cover up non-sponsors logos during the Games."

I quote, "Librarians in Vancouver are being warned to solicit only official Olympic sponsors for any Games-themed events they organize next month, and to cover up the names of any competitors - even slapping tape on offending logos on audiovisual equipment."

Now let me be clear, this is not VANOC or Vancouver. This is the work of over zealous Vancouver Public Libraries marketing director Jean Kavanagh.

Quoting: "Staff should avoid such companies as Pepsi or Dairy Queen."

Paraphrasing: "Furthermore if you have a speaker or writer who happens to work for an non-sponsor company, be sure they are not displaying their products or logos. Also any equipment not made by an official sponsor should have its name taped over."

Funny, I thought libraries were the place to go to get unbiased and uncensored information about any topic imaginable? I guess I was mistaken. I guess we have reached the peak of man's informational evolution and started to regress.

Too bad we had to stop wayback machine at book burning. They want so desperately to have successful Olympics they willing to throw everyone else's civil liberties and rights into the waiting shredder.
