Over the next 90 days we have the chance to tell the Liberal government of British Columbia that we do not approve the new HST ["Development plans abandoned over HST," The Chief, April 9].
Who benefits from this tax? Companies.
Do you or I benefit? No.
Does this tax put money in much needed health care or education in our province? No.
Do we get to vote on the implementation of this new tax? No.
I ask every single one of my fellow British Columbians to stand up and fight the planned implementation of HST - sign the petition spear headed by former BC Premier Bill Vanderzalm when it comes to your region throughout this beautiful province.

The petition starts April 6 and we need everybody's support to stop this imposed tax.
