The annual B.C. & Yukon Community News Media Association’s 2023 Awards recognize the best of journalism.
On the road to winning the awards, there is the nomination announcement, which is similar to the field of the final teams that will play for gold in the provincial tournament in hockey or soccer.

The first is a nomination in the Newspaper General Excellence category for our circulation class. This award recognizes the overall quality of the paper’s print edition.
We are up against our sister paper in Whistler, Pique Newsmagazine and Whitehorse’s Yukon News.
We are also up against ourselves in the Special Publications Award category, as we received nominations for both our 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Holiday Guide magazine and our Discover 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 publication.
In that category, we are up against our sister paper Powell River Peak and its magazine Discover Powell River.
Award winners will be announced on Thursday, May 4.
