Now it is truly official.
All the elected councillors and the mayor have been officially sworn in for duty.
At an afternoon special business meeting in council chambers, Coun. Lauren Greenlaw was officially sworn in as councillor for the District of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 on Nov. 15.
Greenlaw had previously been absent from the swearing-in ceremony at the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Valley Golf Club on Nov. 1, during which the other elected councillors — Eric Andersen, John French, Andrew Hamilton, Chris Pettingill, Jenna Stoner — and Mayor Armand Hurford were sworn in.
The Nov. 1 ceremony was followed by a short council meeting and then reception.
Greenlaw was sworn in by Staff Sgt. Gareth Bradley of the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 RCMP prior to the regular council meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
Afterward, council moved into its special business meeting, which focused on the 2023 to 2027 financial plan.
