From Sept. 14 to 16, will host 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Punk Fest 2023, showcasing punk bands from around the Sea to Sky Corridor. The majority of the action will take place from 7 to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with additional daytime punk between 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
“We are excited about bringing the festival back,” wrote event organizer Paul Hudson in an email to The 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料.
“Our previous festival was in September 2019. We ran a very successful music series in the winter and spring of 2023, and have definitely created a buzz locally with punk and DIY music in our community. Our festival will be a showcase event of all that is happening with this style of music locally in 2023.”
Some of the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 and Whistler bands to perform at the show include: Anonymericans, The Subteraliens, De Fuca, Tides Will Turn, Trainwreck, The Tequila Monkeys, The SQuNKS, Last Reminisced Heroes, and Introduce Wolves.
Hudson said there’s a buzz around 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 for a Vancouver-based band, Russian Tim and Pavel Bures, who perform on Friday. And for those punk rockers that have started a family, then you’re in luck as the event is for all ages.
“A lot of parents who are music fans bring their kids, as young as four years old, with ear protection of course. We also attract a number of youth who are interested in live music locally,” said Hudson, adding that Saturday night’s opener, Trainwreck, includes local 老澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 youth.
Overall, Hudson said they expect several hundred guests to come out to the festival over the course of the three days.
Tickets for the festival are already . For all three days, the tickets cost about $38 and individual nights cost about $22. Last minute attendees can gain entrance any night for $25 cash at the door.
Hudson said that either a full festival or single day ticket purchase will also receive a download code for a free copy of a compilation album on Bandcamp, showcasing some of the artists from the festival. Food and drinks from Peckinpah will be available during the action.
