ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ sees heavy dusting of snow

Locals in downtown ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ woke up to 49 centimetres of the white stuff on Sunday morning, according to meteorologist Jason Ross.

Though not much information has been available to local media about the timeline and current state of the project by developer Matthews West, the company's Taylor Wood did recently tell The ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ that Phase A — earthworks — for the Sp’akw’us Feather park construction is now complete. 

"Phase B — landscaping — is now underway," Wood said, in an email in early February.

"Works continue to ramp up with ongoing utility installation on site as well as construction on the [Oceanfront Presentation Centre and Public House] PCPH, adjacent to the park. PCPH will house the Oceanfront ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ sales center as well as a public house/brewery."
