A small wildfire is burning west of Whistler, according to the BC Wildfire Service.

The fire is on the west side of Mount Fee near the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ River.

According to the BCWS, it was discovered shortly after 4 p.m. on Canada Day, and is about 0.009 hectares in size. 

The fire is classified as under control, and it is suspected to be human-caused.

A remains in place for Whistler, and sunshine and high temperatures are in the cards for the .

Meanwhile, a second fire on Sessel Mountain north of Pemberton has grown to seven hectares, according to the BCWS.

That fire is suspected to be lightning-caused, and is classified as out of control.
