During interviews in recent weeks, The Associated Press asked celebrities promoting their own projects in Europe what they planned to watch this winter season. 鈥淚 just have so many shows to catch up on. LONDON (AP) 鈥 The weather outside may be frightful, but the myriad viewing options inside can be nothing short of delightful.

During interviews in recent weeks, The Associated Press asked celebrities promoting their own projects in Europe what they planned to watch this winter season:

LUCAS BRAVO and DARREN STAR ("Emily in Paris"):

鈥淚 just have so many shows to catch up on. I have fantasies of what I will watch, but I don鈥檛 really ever get to them, you know. Like, I never really got to see 鈥楾he Sopranos鈥 the way I should have,鈥 Star, said.

Does catching up on other television shows feel like work, though?

鈥淣ot when they鈥檙e that old," Star said. "I don鈥檛 mind going back and watching the old shows because then I鈥檓 not sort of thinking about them in that present moment 鈥 like, 鈥楧amn, how is it so good?鈥欌

Bravo, the actor who plays love interest and chef Gabriel on the Netflix show, put in and to his list 鈥 but there's

鈥淚鈥檓 watching 鈥楾okyo Vice鈥 right now 鈥 such a spectacular show,鈥 the French actor said. "The way Japan is filmed, it made me want to be there. It鈥檚 very immersive, very good.鈥

MARTIN CLUNES ("Doc Martin"):

Clunes, who has played the titular fish-out-of-water-and-into-rural-Cornwall doctor chose 鈥淕hosts.鈥

鈥淚 love 鈥楪hosts.鈥 I absolutely love 鈥楪hosts,鈥 because, just because they鈥檙e all so good and they all dig each other so much that they all kind of thrive, don鈥檛 they?鈥 he said of the BBC sitcom about a couple who inherits an old house haunted by some quirky characters. A is aired by CBS.

鈥淭hey鈥檙e all so clever,鈥 Clunes said of the U.K. show's cast. 鈥淚鈥檝e worked with a couple of them. Well, we had Mathew Baynton down. He had his finger chopped off in an early 鈥楧oc Martin.鈥欌

WILLIAM ABADIE and LUCIEN LAVISCOUNT ("Emily in Paris")

The 鈥淓mily in Paris鈥 actors turn to the environment for their winter watches.

鈥淚 love nature documentaries. I鈥檝e been a vegan for a couple of years," Abadie, who plays perfumer and PR client Antoine, said.

Documentaries about nutrition and global warming also catch his fancy: 鈥淚 just them put them on a loop and I listen, try to understand the data, how it's explained and all that.鈥

chases a 鈥渟imilar vibe鈥 and said he was into 鈥渁nything inspiration, inspiring stuff.鈥

"I need to kind of keep that going, especially through the winter months, so inspirational kind of adventure shows I鈥檓 into,鈥 he said.

A show he's hooked on at the moment? 鈥淲ednesday.鈥

DOUGLAS HODGE and BLAKE HARRISON ("I Hate Suzie Too")

鈥淚 suppose I watch quite a lot of horror with my wife, as it gets dark," much to Harrison's, well, horror as the two 鈥淚 Hate Suzie Too鈥 actors were interviewed together.

The three-part 鈥淚 Hate Suzie鈥 follow-up on Sky revolves around a former child star played by Billie Piper. Hodge plays her ex-husband while Harrison plays Suzie's rival contestant on a dance competition show-within-the-show.

Harrison, on the other hand, is "trying to indoctrinate my daughter into despite his wife's distaste.

鈥淚 went through a period where me and my brother would get together around every Christmastime and, in one day, watch all three extended editions of 鈥楾he Lord of the Rings鈥 鈥 it would be like a 12-and-a-bit-hour marathon,鈥 he explained. 鈥淥bviously I鈥檝e got kids now, so that doesn鈥檛 happen as much, although I鈥檓 just starting to introduce my daughter to 鈥楩ellowship of the Ring.鈥 She鈥檚 slowly getting 鈥 and she鈥檚 sort of into it.鈥

BRUNO GOUERY and SAMUEL ARNOLD ("Emily in Paris")

Once more to Paris, where Arnold and Gouery play Julien and Luc, co-workers at a Paris PR firm.

Arnold is "Christmas movies 鈥 like, it鈥檚 always the best, like 鈥楬ome Alone,鈥 鈥楧ie Hard鈥 鈥 all those Christmas movies.鈥

Gouery, meanwhile, is primed for a different kind of time: helped by the fact that it gets dark so early.

鈥淚 like comedy, too," he said. "And in another way, the two opposite things: I like horror films, you know, movies like 鈥楽cary Movie,鈥 鈥楽hining,鈥 鈥楶sycho.' You look at me: 鈥楬e鈥檚 crazy.鈥欌

鈥淩emind me to not do Christmas with you, bro," Arnold replied.
