SD48 says that by the end the day today, 95% of staff in the school district will have had access to a COVID-19 vaccine.
As there are about 820 staffers in SD48 — not just teachers, but admin, custodial workers and so on — that means about 779 will have had access to the shot.On April 30, spokesperson Jennifer Morris said she could not confirm how many staffers will have actually taken the vaccine due to privacy concerns.
In the meantime, four staff and approximately 80 students are self-monitoring as a result of the latest potential exposure atOver April, there have been three exposures.
The first was on April 9, the second on April to 16, and a third on April 19.
