Daylight saving time is set to take place in Vancouver on Sunday, March 14 at 2 a.m. Clocks will "spring forward" an hour to Pacific time on Sunday, March 14 at 3 a.m.
Back in 2019, the province asked residents to weigh in on . More than 93 per cent of respondents, or almost 225,000 people, indicate their support for a permanent move to daylight time.
Saskatchewan does not observe daylight saving time and remains on standard time year-round.
Eventually, British Columbia will introduce legislation that will eliminate seasonal time changes, but when it happens still remains a matter of timing.
Right now, Premier John Horgan has delayed moving forward with the changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
