CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) 鈥 Terry Rozier scored nine of his 22 points in the final 5 minutes as the Charlotte Hornets rallied past the Philadelphia 76ers 107-101 on Wednesday night in a matchup of injury-riddled teams.

Charlotte, which trailed by 13 points in the first half, won for only the second time in 13 games and ended a three-game skid.

Hornets coach Steve Clifford said Rozier has been carrying a huge burden because of injuries to starting guard LaMelo Ball and others.

鈥淗e鈥檚 just not getting a lot of easy shots because of the situation right now,鈥 Clifford said. 鈥淗e鈥檚 playing huge minutes and he鈥檚 got a lot of responsibility. But he took over there in the fourth quarter.鈥

Philadelphia was playing without three starters 鈥 Joel Embiid, James Harden and Tyrese Maxey 鈥 but got strong efforts from Shake Milton, De鈥橝nthony Melton, Montrezl Harrell and Tobias Harris.

Milton had 22 points, Melton 20, Harris 19 and Harrell 16 for Philadelphia. Harrell was playing in Charlotte for the first time since that franchise allowed him to leave via free agency last summer.

The Sixers were coming off a home win Tuesday night over Brooklyn.

鈥淚 thought we played great,鈥 Philadelphia coach Doc Rivers said. 鈥淗onestly, I think we ran out of gas. I didn鈥檛 see a negative thing we can say in this game.

鈥淗onest to God, I thought we played hard. I mean in the first quarter we had 33 points. From then on, we missed a lot of makeable shots, which you鈥檒l live with.鈥

P.J. Washington finished with 19 points, Kelly Oubre scored 14 and Nick Richards had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Charlotte.

Rozier鈥檚 3-pointer late in the first half pulled Charlotte within 54-53 at the break.

After Charlotte took as much as a five-point lead in the third quarter, the Hornets used Rozier鈥檚 late burst to pull away.

Rozier鈥檚 15-footer with 4:46 remaining put the Hornets ahead 93-84. The 76ers got within 99-97, but Rozier hit another jumper with 1:35 left to put Charlotte ahead by four.

The Hornets were missing Ball and top reserve Cody Martin, and lost guard Dennis Smith Jr. in the second quarter to left ankle sprain.

鈥淚t鈥檚 what we鈥檙e dealing with right now,鈥 said Rozier, who is among three Hornets starters who have missed games with injuries. 鈥淯nfortunately, we鈥檙e dealing with a lot of injuries. Dennis went down again. It鈥檚 tough to see that but you can鈥檛 control stuff like that.

鈥淚 just want to give my best effort and whatever coach needs me to do.鈥
